Aston Martin Unveils Vanquish Volante Wave Edition For The Naples Winter Wine Festival Auction

The one-off Wave Edition was designed to reflect the movement of water and waves in the Florida Bay area; limited to a single example, the Vanquish Volante Wave Edition was specially produced by Q by Aston Martin and Aston Martin Naples, and was offered at auction during the 2026 Naples Winter Wine Festival in support of the Naples Children & Education Foundation.

31 January 2026, Naples, Florida, USA: The one-of-a-kind Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Wave Edition, developed by the brand’s bespoke division Q by Aston Martin, was sold for $1.1 million at a live auction held as part of the 2026 Naples Winter Wine Festival. All proceeds from the sale were donated to the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF).

The Wave Edition stood out with design details inspired by the coastline of Collier County. The exterior featured Q Iridescent Sapphire paint, highlighted by blue and green tones that reflect the movement of water. Gloss black carbon fibre elements and bespoke Club Sport White livery enhanced the wave-inspired design language, while red brake calipers offered a subtle nod to coastal buoys.

Inside, the cabin presented a calm and airy atmosphere with a Glacier White theme complemented by carbon fibre details. Wave-inspired motifs across the interior reinforced the concept, while a red anodized start/stop rotary switch added a distinctive finishing touch.

The Vanquish Volante is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine producing 835 PS and 1000 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 214 mph. Its convertible roof opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16 seconds.

While a standard Vanquish Volante has a starting price of around $500,000 in the United States, this bespoke Wave Edition reached $1.1 million at auction, effectively doubling its value. Its one-off nature, unique design, and charitable purpose all contributed to this increase.

Recognised as one of the world’s most prestigious charity auctions, the Naples Winter Wine Festival has raised over $336 million since 2001, helping improve the lives of underprivileged children in Collier County.
